ST. GEORGE, Antigua and Barbuda – 30th May, 2021……The Antigua and Barbuda National Cadet Corps (ABNCC), under the Command of Maj. A. Michael, answered the call for regional support for our fellow Corps of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines (SVGCF) who are currently assisting in Disaster Response, stemming from the recent volcanic eruptions and floods.

The teens, led by Sgt James T, represented the humanitarian/community outreach arm of the ABNCC, where the members demonstrated their civic responsibilities by donating dry goods and toiletries, with the aid of Officers and parents of an active PTA Group. The Cadets collected, packaged, and loaded the donations onto the RSS aircraft on Saturday 29th May, which was transporting ABDF soldiers to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

This team of Cadets has also been active during the COVID 19 pandemic by assisting national and church-based organizations  to collect donations, package and deliver care packages to those in need.
