The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Job recruitment drive continues next week with interviews for the over 150 applicants who would have signaled interest by applying for available positions.
Successful candidates who have completed phase 1 which includes job application and registration for the recruitment process, will be notified within the coming days of an impending appointment to be interviewed on either the 20th or 21st of September 2022.
Policy and Project Specialist within the Ministry of Tourism and Investment, Simone Richards said each candidate will have 10 minutes to sell themselves to the cruise line officials.
Meanwhile, Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez said the second such cruise line job recruitment drive Antigua and Barbuda has seen this year, and it is a testament to what the government is doing to secure jobs for the nation coming out of a pandemic.
‘It also shows the confidence that international companies have in the quality of our workforce and the abilities of our people,” he said.
MSC Cruises is an Italian global cruise line registered in Switzerland and based in Geneva, with operations offices in Naples, Genoa, and Venice.
It was founded in 1989 in Naples, Italy, as part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company.
MSC is the world’s largest privately held cruise company, employing about 23,500 people worldwide and holding offices in 45 countries as of 2017.
