Cement truck driver dies following accident

The cement truck driver whose vehicle overturned in Cedar Valley yesterday has died.

He is 28-year-old Jakeem Murray. He died at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center hours after the accident

Murray reportedly sustained several internal injuries.

      Myyyy brother name is Jakeem . Doesn’t matter to you but it does to me cause that’s his name . He deserves to have it spelt right in a article announcing his death ***** !

        WOW that was harsh. Anybody seeing that comment would have said the same not knowing the deceased was your brother but to be called a ******** because of pointing out a life lost vs a misspelled is uncalled for. Differently sorry for your loss may your family anf all who mourn this tragic loss find comfort. May the dearly departed find eternal rest

    We wake up in the mornings and go about our daily routine to make ends meet not knowing what ills might befall us during the day. I have learned to say a prayer when I rise asking the Heavenly Father for direction, guidance and protection as these days are turbulent in so many ways. May the family of the deceased be comforted as they mourn his passing and may God Almighty bring peace and joy to them even as they mourn his tragic death.
