WATCH: Hail falls from sky in St Kitts

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the St. Kitts MET Office, are investigating reports of hail in the Northern part of the island, particularly Saddlers and Tabernacle.

The St. Kitts MET Office say they are currently assessing these reports.

A hailstorm is an unusual weather phenomenon in which balls of ice, called hail, fall from the sky. The ice balls are nothing more than solid precipitation that will form under certain conditions.
