Antigua and Barbuda represented at annual CHTA Travel Forum

Antigua and Barbuda’s Tourism Minister and Mia Mottley, Barbados Prime Minister

Antigua and Barbuda’s Tourism Minister Charles Max Fernandez is in Barbados, alongside other regional tourism ministers, attending the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) 41st Caribbean Travel Marketplace.

The annual Caribbean Travel Forum is held under the theme “Tourism: The key driver of generational wealth for Caribbean nationals”.

Barbados’ Prime Minister Mia Mottley presented the keynote address at the event which focuses on the business of tourism in the Caribbean.

She also discussed relating to air connectivity, sustainability, technology innovation, labor market concerns, taxation, and tourism linkages.

Motley’s keynote address was preceded by the State of the Industry and Region Address from Nicola Madden-Greig, president of CHTA, the trade association which speaks for the interests of the private sector.
