Over 100 care packages for senior mothers in St Johns Rural North

The Parliamentary Representative for St. John’s Rural North Charles ‘Max’ Fernandez, continued his giving ways on Saturday, providing senior mothers of his constituency with food packages.

Fernandez and his team spent the better part of his day hand-delivering over 100 food packages for the mothers; as part of a Mother’s Day initiative.

The food packages included nonperishable food items including toiletries. They were also presented with a Mother’s Day token and a card from Fernandez.

He said his efforts were not only aimed at providing much-needed assistance to seniors in the community but also geared at showing appreciation to mothers who continue to work tirelessly to provide for their families over the years

“No language can express the power, beauty, heroism, and majesty of a mother’s love,” he said

Meanwhile, Fernandez’s actions were met with praise and gratitude from the recipients of the packages with many expressing their appreciation for the kindness and thoughtfulness of their representative. One matriarch commented.
