Asot Michael, the Member of Parliament for St Peter has been suspended from Parliament.

Sir Gerald Watt, the Speaker of the House suspended Micheal for what he described on Wednesday as “hooliganism” behavior.

Michael will not be able to enter Parliament for the next three sittings

MP Michael took issue with a comment made by Prime Minister Gaston Browne while Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin was concluding a debate on a bill.

Michael repeatedly argued loudly with the speaker, who had warned him repeatedly that he would not tolerate his actions much longer.
