The Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) is pleased to announce its nominees, in the various categories, for the 2023 National Sports Awards.

The nominees are as follows:

• Sports Administrator of the Year – Miss Jennell Willette
• Coach of the Year – Mr. Irwyn “Wanga” Armstrong
• Junior Sportsman of the Year – Mr. Tequan Brodie
• Sportsman of the Year – Mr. Steven Matthew

To be recognized among some of the Nation’s top athletes is truly a great achievement, and the Association, under the directorship of its President, Mr Michael Freeland, commends the athletes on this high accolade.

Each of the nominees, in their respective categories, demonstrated a high level of performance at all levels, and at the same time, showed commitment to the sport and its continued development, in Antigua and Barbuda.

The 2023 National Sports Awards will be held on Saturday 10 th June 2023 under the auspices of the Ministry of Educations, Sports and Creative Industries
