Investigations are underway into two fires on Monday.

Public Relations Officer of the Fire Department Lester Bagot told reporters that the St John’s Fire Station responded to two house fire calls on Monday 26 June 2023.

He said both houses were unoccupied and of wooden construction with no electricity attached.

They were both completely destroyed.

The first house, according to Bagot was located at Perry Bay and was owned by the Perry Family.

The second was located in Nut Grove and owned by Cristabell James.

The first call was at 6:39 am and the second was at 9:54 pm.

The fire brigade is investigating the origin of both fires.
