A man in his thirties died following an accident in Urlings at about 1:30 today. Three other people who were in the vehicle that crashed into a pole were also injured.

Reports are that the man was pronounced dead at the hospital. Although CPR was performed by EMS officials who rushed to the scene, the man succumbed.

The three other persons sustained injuries although it is not clear to what extent. Reports are that a woman may be in a critical condition but our newsroom could not confirm it.

All three however were admitted to the hospital.

The driver allegedly lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a lamp post.
