The past few days have been overwhelming, to say the least, and regardless of how undaunting, it has not dampened the spirit of the owners of the Fox House Restaurant and Bar who are working tirelessly to ensure that the popular restaurant reopens tonight following a major robbery
The popular Valley Road Restaurant was robbed sometime on Sunday with burglars making good on their escape with five refrigerators stocked with food, wine and liquors, and other beverages.
The owner of the restaurant Avella Fox told a local radio station that the entire day Wednesday was spent trying to get equipment and other items needed to provide efficient service to people who have made reservations for Thursday.
“We had nothing so the goal is to what we can work out with companies to see the best way forward in regards to having a couple of refrigerators to start us off.
“The good thing about this is that we have done this before where we had nothing to open Fox House and we built from scratch so we know how to do it, do we want to do. Do we want to do it all over again; no but this is what we are forced to”, Fox said.
She also applauded her staff who reached out on their own wanting to know what needed to be done to facilitate the return to normal.
Meanwhile, A GoFundMe page was also established for people wishing to assist the restaurant to recoup a fraction of what was lost.
Fox said a number of people have already supported the appeal and asked others to do the same. She stressed that “every dollar count”.

I hope that progress has been made in attempting to identify the perpetrators.
Who knows who they will do this to next. IT MIGHT BE YOU.
