Santana Areche escaped custody almost four months ago

There’s still no word coming from St Kitts and Nevis about Nicholas Santana Areche, the Antiguan and Barbudan who escaped custody almost four months ago

Santana is the man who allegedly captained the La Belle Michelle, which sank with 32 people off the Coast of St Kitts and Nevis on March 28 when the vessel encountered engine problems.

It is believed that 14 people perished on that dangerous journey to St Thomas

Commissioner of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, James Sutton, said the fugitive is 53 years old and is the only one still on the run after 9 people had escaped from the center.

Lawmen are quite baffled as to how they have not been able to find him or learn about his whereabouts. Many believe that Nicholas may have left St Kitts and Nevis.

30 Cameroonians were onboard that vessel and only 14 of them had been rescued. Santana and another Antiguan national were also rescued.

  1. Who is this other Antigua? No name of that person up to this day. Are the PM and AG involved in this African human trafficking saga deeper than we are speculating??? Human trafficking is a big money business and the PM and AG love money like fowl love corn.
