Allen Onyema, the Founder and CEO of Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, has expressed his appreciation to Gaston Browne, the Prime Minister, for making the airline’s inaugural flight a success on Saturday.
Onyema commended the Prime Minister for his tenacity and determination to make the flight a reality and pledged that Antigua and Barbuda would be pleased with the partnership.
During his observations, he noticed a growing interest in Africa and believed it would become a popular destination in the near future.
Onyema praised PM Browne for his vision and drive to improve his nation and committed to assisting the country in the sports sector.
He has never seen a leader as committed to uplifting his people to greater heights.
PM Browne welcomed the idea, recognizing the talent in Antigua and Barbuda’s youth but acknowledged that exposure needed to be improved.
He encouraged those in the sporting arena not to limit their talents.
Despite Antigua Airways’s challenges, the government remains dedicated to achieving an air bridge between Africa and the Caribbean.
Meanwhile, a welcome reception was held at the Hodges Bay Resort and Spa, to celebrate the inaugural charter of Air Peace Ltd.
