Residents have been advised about a traffic diversion on Fort Road between Marble Hill Road Junction and the New Bridge starting on Monday
The diversion will last for several hours, between 7 am to 6 pm, to be more specific.
The diversion, according to the Ministry, will be necessary as crucial roadworks are carried out during daylight hours on that section of the road.

“Diversion signs and flag personnel will direct traffic flow to diversion routes during the day, while the routine traffic flow will resume at night. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution as some open trenches, marked with caution tape, will be present,” the ministry said in a statement.
If you’re planning on traveling in the affected area, be aware that diversion signs and flag personnel will be in place to direct traffic during the day. However, traffic should resume as normal at night.
The Ministry has warned that delays may still be unavoidable, so it’s best to plan your travel accordingly.
