Dona Regis-Prosper, the former General Manager of Antigua Cruise Port (ACP), expressed great satisfaction with the accomplishments of her team during her tenure.
Regis-Prosper reflected on the successes achieved in a short period of time during a recent interview saying that some of her significant achievements include the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which she credited to the collective efforts of Global Ports Holdings (GPH) and Antigua Cruise Port.
She also acknowledged the support of Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez and expressed her gratitude to the wider port community, including the St. John’s Development Corporation, tenants at Heritage Quay, the Saint John’s Taxi Association, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, the Airport Authority, the Antigua and Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Association, Ship Agents, Tour Operators, and the Port Authority.
Regis-Prosper thanked her team for their agility and their contributions to the success of Antigua Cruise Port.
She congratulated Cynthia Jacobs-Browne on her appointment as Officer in Charge and wished her continued success.
Regis-Prosper concluded her farewell by stating that it was not a “Goodbye” but a “See you later,” as she takes on her new role as Secretary-General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
She looks forward to seeing her colleagues again in the near future.
