AGS Students Awarded More Scholarships from Events Producer

Josh Gardner, an events producer at Josh G Entertainment, continues to give back to his alma mater, the Antigua Grammar School (AGS), by adding new scholarships to the school’s annual scholarship portfolio.

This academic year, AGS students can apply for four scholarships, including the Khan Cordice Performing Arts Scholarship, the Bevon Burke Engineering Scholarship, the Jermaine Mullin Science and Technology Scholarship, and the Entrepreneurial Business Scholarship.

These scholarships will cover the costs of the Caribbean Secondary Examinations Council (CSEC) examinations for the awardees.

To qualify for the Entrepreneurial Business Scholarship, fourth and fifth form students must achieve the highest combined averages in Principles of Business, Mathematics, and Information Technology.

For the Jermaine Mullin Science and Technology Scholarship, students must have the highest Physics, Chemistry, and Biology average.

Meanwhile, students interested in the Bevon Burke Engineering Scholarship must have the highest combined averages in Technical Drawing and Geography.

The Khan Cordice Performing Arts Scholarship is awarded to the cumulative top Music and English Literature student.

In 2022, Zhaveah Benjamin and Jubmar James were awarded the Entrepreneurial Business Scholarship and Jermaine Mullin Science and Technology Scholarship, respectively.

Gardner’s motivation for awarding these scholarships comes from his desire to give back to the institution that helped him become the successful entrepreneur he is today.
