India committed to improving digital technology in Antigua and Barbuda.

15 September 2023 - 08:41

India and Antigua and Barbuda have taken a step towards strengthening the digital landscape of the latter by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The Indian government, through the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, will share its successful digital solutions with Antigua and Barbuda’s Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, focusing on digital public infrastructure (DPI).

The MoU is expected to be effective for the next three years and promote closer cooperation and exchange of experiences in digital technology solutions.

The collaboration between the two nations will involve both the public and private sectors and is aimed at increasing employment opportunities in IT.

India has been collaborating with several countries and international agencies to enhance information and communication technology cooperation.

Its digital technology experiences are part of its diplomatic outreach to developing countries.
