Dwayne George, the Antigua Barbuda Labor Party (ABLP) candidate for the St. Mary’s South by-election, has been working tirelessly in his constituency as he gears up for Nomination Day on October 9.

In an interview with Antigua.news, George stated that he has been meeting with people in their homes, and addressing their concerns to ensure that their issues are taken care of before the by-election.

George’s main objective is to work for the individuals in his constituency and to represent the communities.

He wants to provide a sense of security to his constituents so that they will have someone to represent them when the time comes.

Meanwhile, George is willing to serve in any area of the ABLP that the party leader, Prime Minister Gaston Browne, deems fit.

During a rally in Urlings on September 30, Browne announced that George would be given a position within the Ministry of Finance if he secures the St. Mary’s South seat in the upcoming by-election.

George says that economics is his primary area of study and he believes he would be a good fit for the position due to his knowledge of economic policies and principles.

He is looking forward to contributing to the economy in any way he can.
