Antigua and Barbuda is being represented at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation’s State of the Tourism Industry conference, which is currently taking place in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Apart from officials from the Ministry of Tourism and the ABTA, Junior Tourism Minister Maliah Stuart from Christ the King High School has been appointed as Antigua and Barbuda’s representative for 2023/2024.

Stuart was awarded the Junior Minister of Tourism title after winning the National Tourism Youth Congress Speech Competition held on June 21st, outperforming four other contestants.

Accompanying Stuart is Tracey Brown, Senior Education and Training Officer in Tourism Education, Training & Awareness.

This year’s CTO conference includes a competition among Junior Ministers of Tourism, and Stuart will be representing Antigua and Barbuda.
