Big cannabis haul seized at Deep Water Harbour worth $240k
In a recent drug-interdiction exercise at the Deep Water Harbour on December 5, the Police seized close to a quarter-million dollars’ worth of cannabis.
The Narcotics Department officers, along with the Customs Enforcement Unit, conducted the operation at around 10:45 a.m. and discovered a blue barrel containing 40 pounds of the controlled drug cannabis.
This illegal drug carries an estimated street value of $240,000.
