Guilty or not guilty? That is the question a trio believed to have killed high ranking customs official Nigel Christian will have to answer on January 19.
On July 10 2020 – 44-year-old Christian was abducted from his McKinnons home.
The high-ranking official was found hours later in the Thibou area with bullets holes about his body.
The incident shocked the nation and triggered a series of protests demanding justice.
In April 2021, three men— Lasean Bully, of Cashew Hill; Wayne Thomas, of Hatton; and Saleim Harrigan of Greenbay — were charged with killing Christian.
The matter has since been adjourned several times until finally being committed in September 2022.
Now, the three are waiting for their arraignment. If the plead not guilty to the charges, they will stand trial before Justice Ann Marie Smith.
