Three teenagers among seven apprehended in gun and ammunition seizure

Three teenage boys were among seven men apprehended by police over the busy holiday weekend after two guns and several rounds of ammunition were seized during separate incidents.

Police say on Saturday, three men from Willikies were arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition.

At the time, lawmen were conducting a stop and search at the East Bus Station in the wee hours of the morning

They confiscated a .380 Beretta pistol with several rounds of ammunition. The men are aged 32, 33, and 46.

Hours later, the police searched the home in Donavan’s and seized a 9-millimeter Ruger pistol with several rounds of ammunition.

According to reports, a 16-year-old from Green Bay Hill and three males from Donovan’s, aged 17, 18, and 25, were all detained.
