Antigua Cruise Port is currently experiencing its busiest month on record and is set to host an impressive 76 visits, with an estimated 160,000 passengers arriving by the end of January 2024.

The month began with the arrival of P&O Cruises’ Arvia on January 13th, marking the first turnaround call of the year.

The following day, SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream II completed its first homeporting operation at the Nevis Street Pier. However, the highlight of the month was the inaugural visit of Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady to the port on January 18th.

The occasion was marked by a traditional plaque exchange ceremony on board the ship at Heritage Quay, attended by esteemed individuals such as Captain Justin Lawes, Antigua Cruise Port Officer-in-Charge Cynthia Jacobs-Browne, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Investment Charles Fernandez, and CEO of Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority Colin James.

The bustling activity at Antigua Cruise Port is a testament to the growing popularity of the island as a cruise destination, with its beautiful beaches, warm weather, and rich cultural heritage attracting visitors from all over the world.
