Andrena Athill-DaSouza is New Deputy Director for News and Current Affairs at ABS

The Antigua & Barbuda Broadcasting Services (ABS) has made an exciting new appointment, welcoming Mrs. Andrena Athill-DaSouza to the position of Deputy Director for News and Current Affairs.

With a strong background in law and a wealth of experience in broadcasting and communications, Mrs. Athill-DaSouza is well-positioned to excel in her new role.

After studying law at the UWI Cave Hill and obtaining her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, Mrs. Athill-DaSouza worked as an Attorney at Law, gaining valuable experience and honing her legal skills.

She then went on to serve as a Judicial Officer at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in St. Lucia, where she demonstrated her commitment to justice and the law.

Mrs. Athill-DaSouza has also worked in broadcasting and communications, with previous experience as Host/Producer on Antigua Barbuda Today and as Co-Host and Producer of the morning show on ABS.

Her ability to engage and inform audiences effectively was clearly evident in these roles.

Currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications and a Master of Laws in Legislative Drafting, Mrs. Athill-DaSouza is dedicated to continuing her professional development and expanding her knowledge and skills.
