Mammoth Pothole Patched. Somebody Cares!

The treacherous porthole on the way to Hatton that was endangering countless lives has finally been patched up!

Our newsroom was the first to report on this dangerous pothole, which was causing utter chaos for travelers to and from the community.

This is an incredibly busy road that leads to three hotels, the Hawksbill, Royalton, and Galley Bay, and the situation was escalating fast.

But just days after we published our story, the powers that be finally took action and patched up the road.

It just goes to show that the media still has the power to make a real difference when it comes to keeping our communities safe.

Kudos to those who undertook this vital work!

  1. Ok. No. A call was made to a local representative and he got the ball rolling! I know this for a fact, just as I know the source of the original photo! Again, that crater was there since early October, when APUA repaired a busted pipe underground! So excuse me if I’m not singing anybody’s praises. The residents of that neighborhood suffered for months because of that situation!😏
