The Venezuelan embassy located at Old Parham Road has resumed in-person Spanish language classes this week.

The classes which had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed on Monday and will continue on Wednesday.

The embassy spokesperson revealed that the classes have three levels – beginners, intermediate and advanced, and approximately 40 students are attending these classes.

According to a social media post by the embassy, this move comes as part of the celebration of 25 years of the Bolivarian Revolution, and highlights the achievements of the revolution and the impact of unilateral coercive measures on Venezuela.

The in-person classes have been initiated after a long break, and previously, the classes were conducted online due to the pandemic.

The classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:50 to 7:30 PM.

The embassy has made all necessary arrangements to ensure the safety of the students and faculty members amidst the pandemic.
