Authors and storytellers of all ages are encouraged to showcase their literary skills before the looming deadline.
Joanne C. Hillhouse, an Antiguan and Barbudan author and the founder of Wadadli Pen, is calling on locals to unleash their creativity and submit their Caribbean-inspired literary works for a chance to win prizes.
With just one day left to submit, participants of all ages can compete, with category prizes available for those aged 12 and under, 13-17, and 18 and above.
According to Hillhouse, the competition welcomes a wide range of entries from Antiguans, including calypso and rap lyrics, graphic novels, and poetry.
The Wadadli Youth Pen Prize, established in 2021 as a registered non-profit, aims to nurture and promote the literary arts in Antigua and Barbuda.
Since its inception in 2004, its flagship project has been the Wadadli Pen Challenge.
