The community is rallying together to aid in the search for Garfield Thomas Jr., a 27-year-old resident of Swetes who has gone missing.

According to family members, he left his home at approximately 7:30 am on Tuesday, February 13, and has not been seen or heard from since.

His loved ones are deeply concerned for his wellbeing and urge anyone with information to come forward.

Thomas Jr. was last seen wearing burgundy short pants along with a black hoodie, and black sneakers. He was carrying a brown knapsack at the time of his disappearance.

Authorities were alerted to his disappearance when a missing person’s report was filed at the Dockyard Police Station around 8 pm on Friday, February 16.

Despite extensive searches in the area, Thomas Jr.’s whereabouts remain unknown. The local police department is encouraging anyone who may have seen him or has information regarding his disappearance to contact them immediately at 460-1002.

The community is hopeful that with a combined effort, Thomas Jr. will be found safe and sound.
