Ziggy Beazer, accused of murdering Leroy Caesar, has once again been found unfit to stand trial.

Beazer, who has a history of mental illness, including schizophrenia, was also charged with the murder of Jermaine “Six Months” Destin in 2020 but was deemed unfit for trial due to his condition back then as well.

That case had been dismissed.

The latest incident involving Caesar occurred during a fight in a cell they shared at St. John’s Police Station on December 29,2021.

Caesar was pronounced dead at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre shortly after.

Despite the seriousness of the charges, Beazer’s mental health remains a significant concern, with the a High Court judge currently reviewing his case.

A decision on the next steps is expected on March 11.
