The Chief Health Inspector has made a distressing appeal to the public regarding the unclaimed bodies of six deceased men that have been in storage at a funeral home for as long as three years.

The bodies are yet to be claimed by their respective families, and the Inspector is urging relatives to come forward and make arrangements for a private funeral at Barnes Funeral Home.

In a recent notice, the Inspector revealed that if the bodies remain unclaimed after 14 days, the government will take necessary steps to have them buried without further notice.

This is a heartbreaking situation, and the names of the unclaimed men are yet to be disclosed.

They are:

Nathaniel Andrew, who died in December, 2021

Renol Delva who died in September, 2021

Edward Sylvester, who died in December, 2021

Dequan Cummings, who passed away in January 2022

Anderson Quinland, who passed in September, 2022

Limo Lee, who died in October, 2022

According to the Office of the Chief Health Inspector, there will be no legal recourse once the state buries the dead men.
