Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and Mrs. Williams have expressed sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Gladys Hodge, our nation’s oldest centenarian, whom they called a cherished matriarch.

Ms. Gladys Hodge had a remarkable and inspiring life that was a testament to her strength, resilience, and love, Sir Rodney wrote, saying that he and his wife had the pleasure of meeting her since her 100th birthday
