Nine young women have made the final cut for the 2024 edition of the Mis Labour Queen Pageant.
News broke via the pageant’s social media pages on Thursday morning announcing the nine ladies who will compete for this year’s crown.
Miss Aliyah Wayne -All Saints West, Miss Kenesha James- St. Paul, Miss Eddenya Aska-Rural West, Miss Deneka Dublin-St. Paul, Miss Shermain Eustache-Rural West, Miss Nevaeh Greene-St. John’s City West, Miss Shanakay McDonald-St. Johns City South, Miss Nechel James- St.George and Miss Dominique Trotman- St. Johns City West were the finalists named.
The young women went through an extensive screening process.
The annual event has become a staple during the Labour Day weekend festivities.
Mekesha Browne, Ms. St. John’s Rural North won the title last year. First runner up was Teresha Nanton, Ms. City South and second runner-up, Cassie Vitalis, Ms. St Mary’s North.
A date and venue for this year’s pageant has yet to be announced.
