Prime Suspect in Sunday’s Shooting Caught with Two Guns

The individual believed to be responsible for a shooting incident on Lower All Saints Road last Sunday has been apprehended with two firearms in his possession, according to police reports.

Currently, authorities are conducting an interrogation and are expected to file charges soon. It is alleged that the suspect shot a man in the face during a dispute that occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim is currently receiving medical treatment and remains hospitalized at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the confrontation between the two individuals escalated on Lower All Saints Road, resulting in the suspect retrieving a gun from his vehicle and using it to harm the victim before fleeing the scene. \

Video footage circulating shows bystanders assisting the injured man, while witnesses express shock and condemn the assailant’s disregard for human life.

Both pedestrians and motorists reportedly witnessed the unfolding altercation.

    The police force don’t even have enough guns for each officers in the force, and this young man has two (unlicensed) firearms. Lord have mercy on Antigua and Barbuda. The police need to get to the root cause of how these illegal guns are getting into Antigua and Barbuda, and nip it in the butt.
    The police need to do like the old western go after who are bringing these guns and who are selling them to the young people. Instead of going after the Indians (the young men) go after the whitemen (the guns pushers).
    Yes, you might say that I watch too much western movies, and I do.
    Sometimes, you have to took some old ideas, mixed with new idea to solve problems.
