The authorities are said to be on the verge of pressing charges against a 23-year-old individual in relation to a homicide that occurred in Old Road during the weekend.

According to reports, the suspect was involved in a disagreement with 23-year-old Ricaldo Joseph at a bar in the early hours of Sunday morning, which escalated into a physical altercation.

It is alleged that the suspect left the premises and retrieved a cutlass, which he then used to strike the other individual on the head and one of his arms.

Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital.
