ABCSC on Fund Raising Drive for Cancer Survivors

The Antigua Barbuda Cancer Support Community (ABCSC) is raising funds to assist cancer patients who have been affected by the closure of the Cancer Center.

ABCSC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Community Charitable Ministry (CCM).

It was established in December 2008 to represent cancer patients in Antigua & Barbuda who are clinically diagnosed with every form of cancer currently known.

The closure of the Cancer Center has caused great hardship for cancer patients who require radiation and other treatments.

They must now travel abroad for periods up to 9 weeks, away from their families and emotional support, and at significant financial cost.

While the Ministry of Health covers the cost of the treatment, patients must pay for accommodation, food, ground transportation, and communication costs.

Many of our members do not have insurance and cannot afford the cost of their stay in Colombia.

The ABCSC is raising funds and seeking corporate partnership to support their outreach efforts.

All the monies raised will contribute to cancer patients traveling overseas for treatment and to their ongoing care, including palliative care in Antigua.

They are hoping to support 10 members in 2024.

They are seeking your partnership by making a generous cash donation and your commitment to building an ongoing relationship. The banking information is as follows:

Bank: ECAB

Account Name: Community Charitable Ministry

Account Number: 102001308
