Authorities have reported that an early morning collision on Sir Sydney Walling Highway involving a Honda Fit and a Vitz vehicle has resulted in charges being pressed against at least one of the drivers.

Both drivers are presently being treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained during the accident.

Photos from the scene reveal that the vehicles have suffered significant damage.

According to eyewitness accounts, the two vehicles were traveling in opposing directions when the collision occurred, resulting in one of the drivers suffering from serious leg injuries.
