  1. No one is to be entirely defined by their mistakes, and this is particularly true for someone who has died. By forgiving this lady and not lamenting on past mistakes, you honor the multifaceted nature of human life. People are more than the worst things they’ve done, and forgiveness is an acknowledgment of the broader scope of a person’s existence, with all its hopes, dreams, and struggles. Plus, she has relatives, children and loved ones, what message are we sending to the future leaders when we condemn a person who made mistakes in their past and totally ignore the many great feats that the same said person has accomplished. Have we forgotten that Cheryl was probably the biggest promoter in Antigua’s history, bringing countless top notch entertainers to our shores, including Vybz Kartel, Jimmy Cliff, and Garnett Silk. Where is the acknowledgment for contributing to our entertainment/tourism industry?
