Law enforcement officials are urgently appealing to the sole suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred in Bathlodge to surrender himself to the nearest police station without delay.

According to reports, the suspect is currently on the run after allegedly shooting the boyfriend of his former lover around 2:45 pm on Friday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened when the woman and her boyfriend were at their community residence. The woman’s ex-boyfriend arrived at the scene, which led to a heated argument between the two men.

In a shocking turn of events, the ex-boyfriend pulled out a firearm and shot the other man in the neck before fleeing the crime scene.

As a result of the shooting, the victim was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

He is currently in stable condition and receiving medical treatment. Law enforcement officials are now urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
