Preliminary reports have indicated that an earthquake measuring approximately 5.4 on the Richter scale struck at around 10:43 am today.
The epicenter of the earthquake was estimated to be approximately 27.3 miles southeast of Antigua and Barbuda, at a depth of 6.2 miles.
Please remain calm and be prepared for potential aftershocks, as these can be just as dangerous as the initial earthquake.
If you are indoors, it is advised that you take cover under a sturdy desk or table and stay away from windows and heavy objects that could fall and cause harm.
