Charity organization Caring for Others Inc on Monday distributed over 150 shoes and articles of clothing to over 100 families in the St. John’s City West constituency.

The organization partnered with its local branch here to execute the initiative called “No Bare Soles” which took place at the Villa Community Centre on Monday.

A representative of the organization Megan Howell told the media that the initiative aims to bring relief to single mothers heading into the summer vacation and to donate over 1500 shoes across several communities and primary schools.

Caring for Others is a human service organization with donor partners based in the United States of America.

Some of the shoes distributed on Monday included Nike, Converse and Polo.

The organization has been partnering with local charities for over 10 years.
