Forecasters anticipate the formation of a tropical depression or tropical storm by this weekend, positioned several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, as the disturbance moves westward at a speed of 15 to 20 mph.
The wave is currently producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity.
Meanwhile, A tropical wave currently situated over the western Caribbean Sea is generating widespread but disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity as it tracks westward at approximately 20 mph.
There is also a 30 percent possibility for some development of this system over the northwestern Caribbean Sea or southwestern Gulf of Mexico in the coming days.
