The committal hearing for Clarence Cameron, a 19-year-old murder suspect from Bendals, has been rescheduled.

Cameron, who is currently in custody, was due to appear in court yesterday for proceedings related to the death of 17-year-old Omarrie Graham.

The hearing was adjourned due to court staff participation in a workshop, necessitating a new date for the case to be heard.

He is now scheduled to appear on July 8.

Cameron stands accused of fatally stabbing Graham, a fellow Bendals resident, during an altercation on June 8.

This incident marked the fourth homicide in the country for 2024.

According to reports, Graham’s body was discovered on the western side of the road near St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Bendals. The victim had sustained stab wounds to his neck, forearm, and wrist.
