National Security Minister Meets with Police Hierarchy

National Security Minister Sir Steadroy Benjamin is currently meeting with the Leadership of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Police Force, including the Commissioner of Police Atlee Rodney, Deputy Commissioner Everton Jeffers, Head of the Criminal Investigations Department, and Special Branch Assistant Commissioner Clifton Cabral, and Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Forensic Services Michael Murrell.

The meeting focuses on procuring new equipment for the Police and the Forensic Lab to improve crime-fighting on the island.

This is part of Government’s efforts to empower the Police and other strategic departments to prevent and fight against crime.
