Prime Minister Gaston Browne has denied claims that he paid $6M to Anthony Smith to resign from the United Progressive Party.

Rumors have been flying high that Browne paid Smith to walk away from the UPP.

PM Browne said while he is not a poor man, “Where am I getting $6M from?”

He also raised a valid point about the impracticality of maneuvering such a substantial amount of money without attracting the banks’ attention.
