Mrs Ruleta Camacho Thomas Recieves Her Instruments from the Governor General Appointing her as Climate Ambassador

Earlier today, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda presented Mrs. Ruleta Camacho Thomas with her instrument of Appointment as Climate Ambassador.

The Governor General commended the new Ambassador and shared that she now has an important role to play in shaping the foreign policy regarding our nation’s climate change agenda and in helping to identify our national priorities as we communicate these to the international community.

Also in attendance at the brief ceremony was the Honourable Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Dianne Black-Layne, Director of Environment, and immediate family members including her husband, daughter and mother.
