Two imitation firearms seized during weekend search

Over the weekend, several search warrants were executed which led to the confiscation of two imitation firearms.

Additionally, several individuals are now in custody and are being questioned in connection with suspicion of robbery.

Stop-and-search operations were carried out over the weekend at various locations across Antigua.

Three individuals are currently in custody after being arrested on suspicion of robbery. The arrests were made after the police seized a vehicle with incorrect registered license plates.

Following the vehicle seizure, the police executed search warrants at the homes of these individuals and found additional license plates among other items.

The arrests took place at the junction of Cross Street and Sir Vivian Richards Street.
