A stunningly designed makeover at the Executive Lounge of the VC Bird International Airport has introduced reimagined comfort and a new era of enhanced luxury for the discerning traveller as they wait through the final moments of their stay in Antigua and Barbuda.

The Executive Lounge was first opened in 2015 and from modest traffic of just over a hundred travellers monthly back then, the lounge is today providing an unparalleled travel experience to thousands every month with its constant attention to providing visitors with the perfect combination of luxury, comfort and service.

But the time came for a refresh and the stylish makeover, washed with earthly palette tones is a relaxing and thoughtfully designed treat, meant to leave a memorable and lasting impression on the traveller.

The Outer Deck of the executive lounge is a unique feature of any airport across the region and it was not left out of the stylish redesign, firmly establishing a new benchmark for the luxury travel experience in the Caribbean.

Stacy Cabrall, who serves in a management capacity of the facility, influenced the magical transformation of the Executive Lounge through her very own creative direction.

She singled out Board Chairman, Rolston Potter, the Board of Directors and the Executive Management of the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority for special praise.

“The enthusiasm and leadership of our Board Chairman, Mr. Potter, and his team was a persistent factor in ensuring that the improvements were completed well ahead of schedule and before the start of the busy period. The trust and confidence provided during the time of upgrades were key factors in achieving the amazing results now on display,” Cabrall added.

The Executive Lounge can be accessed by Antiguans and Barbudans as well, Cabrall added, noting that the service is not only meant for the visitor, where clients are able to get refreshed with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and hot or cold appetizers.

She added that their British Airways and Virgin Airways clients have been stellar and were among the very first in line to access the services.

The Executive Lounge is the rave of prestigious travellers, including members of luxurious loyalty cards like Diners Club, Priority Pass, Lounge Key and the latest Dragon Pass which has grown in considerable popularity in the UK and Canadian markets.
