Barbudan national Ralph L. Mims distributed 3D printers to the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Creative Industries for use during its annual STEM Camp.

The printers, valued at $1,000, were donated by Flyer Press Design and Print, a company based in Los Lunas, New Mexico, owned by the Montoya family.

Ralph L. Mims, the owner of R. MIMS World Group, located in Antigua and Barbuda as well as in New Mexico, expressed the importance of giving back to the community.

“I am a Barbudan, and my family is from Barbuda, so I feel it’s necessary for people that live in the diaspora to give back if you have the resources,” said Mims at a brief ceremony at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Creative Industries.
