Not the actual gun
A Clarks Hill man will spend the next six months at His Majesty’s Prison after pleading guilty to two gun-related offenses.
Terique Browne appeared before Magistrate Clark charged with possession of one .38 firearm and possession of five rounds of ammunition.
Browne pleaded guilty to both charges. He was sentenced to six months in prison for possession of the firearm and four months for possession of the ammunition. The sentences are to run concurrently.
Browne was intercepted by the Police near the East Bus Station in an area known as “Shanty Town”, on Saturday, July 27, during the celebrations of T-shirt Mas.
Members of the Special Services Unit were on mobile patrol conducting stop-and-search exercises when the arrest was made.
