12 August 2024 - 05:16
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has expressed his excitement about the plans announced by the Jumby Bay Island Company Ltd. to open a spectacular new beach club and restaurant called The Hut, Little Jumby.

This new establishment will be distinct from the existing Jumby Bay Club and is scheduled to open in November 2024 on Maiden Island, promising to be the most captivating private beach club and restaurant in the Caribbean.

The company has shared that The Hut, Little Jumby will be conducting a Job Fair from August 26 to 30 in Antigua to fill various positions at this new tourist destination.

Opportunities are available for hosts, servers, food runners, bartenders, bar backs, drink runners, beach servers, beach runners, sous chefs, line cooks, stewards, maintenance assistants, and storeroom clerks. Individuals interested in securing an interview appointment were required to register by August 9, 2024.

Prime Minister Browne underscored the significant impact of the new beach club and restaurant on the country’s tourism.

In a social media post, he highlighted the employment opportunities that will be available at The Hut on Maiden Island, emphasizing its status as another prestigious culinary establishment alongside Nobu Barbuda and the Reef at Green Island.
